Here at An Organized Life, we LOVE decorating for the holidays. It is a fun departure from working in basements and closets. We can help make your prep less stressful – from bring everything down from the attic, to decorating and designing and post-holiday storing.
Everyone has their own holiday style and traditions, but if you’re looking for a few additions to your collection or a little spruce-up, here are some of our favorite things this season.
Trees of all kinds abound at the holidays – faux, real, glass, bottle brush. These mercury glass trees provide a warm glow to your room in the evenings, but also add a touch of elegance while unlit during the day.
This pretty candle and tree combo would work great as a centerpiece, on a shelf or along a mantle, adding some light and shine to your space.
There a lots of deer in the woods, but these are slightly more whimsical deer than the rest. Tuck these guys on shelves or along the mantle to add some shine and height.
They can be an investment but really nice faux garland and wreaths are beautiful and can simplify decorating year after year. We’ve found Balsam Hill has great faux greenery, including trees.
Upgrade your standard solid candles with these fun ombre candles. They create a beautiful, bright pop of color for your Menorah.
A cheery red lantern is perfect for all around the house – from welcoming guests on the front porch, to the fireplace hearth to the sideboard.
These gold (or white) pedestal candlesticks are a great accent for any part of your hosting space. Add some red berries or greenery around their base to tie them into the rest of the decor.
This merry pillow is a quick and easy way to make a room more festive. It’s neutral enough to work with most decor, but still adds a bit of cozy fun!
Hostess with the mostess lovely dishes. Fill your table with friends, family and light, and serve them some delicious apps or desserts.
And last but not least are these stocking holders. Hear me out, they are very basic, but they easily blend into garland or other mantle decor. The reason I love them is that they are the only kind I’ve found that doesn’t fly off the mantle when Santa adds his treats.
Let’s work together to decorate and store it afterward. Contact us for home decorating and organizing help if you’d like a partner to get you going.
